What foods should you eat???

Usually when I say to eat small frequent meals to lose weight, people start to say "what the hell is a small meal!"

Well let me tell you...

A small meal is more like a large snack. Consider eating a petite breakfast wrap versus our great American breakfast: pancakes, eggs, bacon, and cup of coffee. Small meals are easier to digest and sits BETTER in your stomach than huge lunches and late night dinners.

Why???

Think of it this way, the next time you stuff your face just ask yourself one simple question, "am I able to go out for a quick run?" We are not talking about running a competitive marathon but more of a small jog. If you immediately answer no than your portion size was WAY too big. For the sake of shedding inches and pounds off your waist you have to understand that portion size definitely matters.

Eating frequently is the number one thing that you can do to lose inches! I like to say eating anywhere from 4-6 meals a day is ideal. I know it is tough but believe me, the reward is worth the effort. Some of you doubters out there might say that it isn't feasible, BUT I say "YES IT IS and YES YOU CAN."

Take a look at my sample---

Snack #1 Hard boiled egg, slices of avocado

Snack #2 Tuna salad

Snack #3 Salad with chicken

Snack#4 Yogurt

Snack#5 Fish and steamed veggies

Snack #6 Carrot sticks

Look at the snacks listed above, how much time do you think it took to prepare or buy it at the grocery store? Not long. Can we all agree that it took around the ball park of an hour and a half... if that? Today we live in a time of "GO," so this easy to eat snack strategy is perfect for those in a hurry and is extremely effective.

Stick to this for a two solid weeks and I will guarantee you an inch off your waist. A lot of times our stomachs look bloated because of the quality of foods that you eat (obviously) but also because of the amount of calories sitting in your tummy at any given time. Too much food in one sitting can give you the bloated "busting" belly appearance. Learn to snack often versus eating two or three large meals a day. Eating frequently helps keep your metabolism spike high 24/7. Which means you are going to be burning calories all day long.

This is perfect because your stomach will constantly signal your brain to lower your food cravings.
