Excuses!
We hear them everyday. I know I do!
As a nutrition and fitness coach I have heard them all. But not from my personal training clients, ALL of them are awesome and share ZERO excuses. They know my Paleo nutritional philosophy and they are the hardest working clients in the gym and EVERYONE knows it!
But what about YOU?
If your not getting results then what's the problem? Excuses! When I interview potential clients and prospects I look for the reasons why they haven't gotten results and do you know what the common denominator is? EXCUSES!
If you don't know what I am talking about then let me give you a fresh reminder :) Here are 21 quick excuses that we may all be familiar with...
- It's raining outside I can't workout
- I just got off of work
- I'm tired
- Today is American Idol night
- I will start working out on Monday
- ...at the first of the month
- ...Right after my birthday
- ...The first of the year
- I had a bad day
- My head hurts
- Tonight is happy hour
- It's Taco Tuesday
- My mom invited me over to eat dinner
- The Lakers play tonight
- I forgot my iPod
- I forgot my workout towel
- There's too many people at the gym
- It smells at the gym
- The gym is just too far
- My girlfriend flaked on me
- My outfit doesn't match
Don't let time, weeks, and months pass by. Don't get stuck figuring out what excuse to use. Just do it! We have a choice to look or feel they way we want to be and if your not happy with your body then YOU'RE choosing not to do anything about it.
