Exercise and Trim Your Thighs
Next to losing weight, the second question that I get asked the most is "how to lose your thighs." How to trim the Fat off and sculpt not just one area of your leg, but the whole enchilada--- inner and outer.
Now before I begin to unleash a secret workout I want to point out one important thing. Women, we all know how paranoid they can be... For the record training your legs will NOT Result in bigger thighs. That is not how it works!
Well, now that I got that off my chest let me continue.
Anytime you do any type of resistance training (weights) you stimulate muscle tone. AND by doing so you put your body in a state of Fat Burning. Remember anytime you build new "Lean Cuisine" muscle your body burns off EXTRA calories. These extra calories burn while training AND at rest. Lean muscle is energy greedy. That is why the more lean muscle you have the more fat you shed and calories you burn.
*Now ladies I know you still believe your legs are growing. So let me put it to you this way. If you are training SMART and eating a high protein diet then your legs wont grow! However, if you are slacking and eating like a college student... need I say more?
Here's a little Thigh Trimmer circuit that I want you to give a shot.
A1 Squats
A2 BW Squats
A3 Split Squats
A4 BW Split Squats
A5 Jump Rope (High Knees)
(2)3x10
Repeat the circuit for 10-12 min, rest for 2 then repeat for a second round.
*BW= body weight, the rest you will use either dumbbells or barbells. Adjust the load based on your level of fitness.
