My Body Type Part 2: Slow Weight Gain
Some times people look at themselves in the mirror and say WOW where did it go.
Well where did it go?
Rapid weight gain is very common and if this is you then continue reading.
Weight gain usually starts off in small increments. A few pounds here and there, the minute you start to ignore the weight you find yourself shopping for bigger size clothing.
Here's how to stop it. People say the faster you put on the weight the faster it can come off. That is partially true. Understand though that any "drastic" change in eating behavior and lifestyle can take a toll on your body.
Take a look...
James is in his mid thirties, his career has left him restless and unable to motivate himself to go to the gym. James is always on the go. A cup of coffee in the morning, a muffin behind the desk and an occasional salad during business luncheons. By the time James comes home, he stomach is starving for food. His energy levels are always low and has no motivation to exercise.
Here we have James following a typical "American Lifestyle." He needs a complete healthy make-over.
First James needs to do a better job of eating. If his morning starts at 6am then he needs to wake up a half hour early to eat a quality breakfast. Next understanding that James does not have a lot of down time at work, he needs to snack in between his projects and agendas preferably every 2-3 hours. Again by waking up a little early James can put together healthy nuts, almonds or shakes to help feed his body and kick start his metabolism. Lastly, by the time James comes home, his appetite would have already decreased and would have better control in portion size and avoid over eating.
By following a healthy/frequent meal plan James metabolsim will start to shed off fat and will give him the motivation he needs to exercise and contiune a new HEALTHY lifestyle.
